How Bobby And Dani Sold Their Home Fast And For Top Dollar

Do you need to sell your home fast but don’t want to leave any money on the closing table? In this episode of The Rocky Border, I’m going to share the story of Bobby and Dani, a couple that needed to sell their house quickly so they could relocate to Florida for a job transfer. We’ll find out how they were able to sell in record time so they could enjoy the sunshine state that much faster.

Bobby And Dani’s Story

Bobby and Dani were living in a Kensington subdivision when a job transfer required them to sell their house and relocate to Florida. The difficult thing for the couple was that they needed to sell their house here in Rockton fast and for top dollar. However, the average days on market in the Kensington subdivision from January 1 to the time that we went on the market was 47 days—and they needed to be in Florida sooner.

When I first met Bobby and Dani, the inventory where they needed to move was very low and the market was extremely competitive. To get their home sold quickly and for top dollar, we needed to act fast and get creative and competitive with our marketing and strategy. Selling your home isn't a three ‘P’ principle where you put a sign in the yard, put it on the MLS, and pray that an offer comes through. It's very strategic.

Thinking Outside The Box

We were able to take a typically difficult and stressful situation—selling and buying at the same time—and make it very simple for Bobby and Dani. They were even able to accomplish their goals from a different state. Many people tend to think that buying and selling while relocating is impossible, but in reality, you just need to see the vision to make it work.

There's always a way to make it happen and somebody who can help. Sometimes this means being creative with financing and negotiating. So the next time somebody tells you that you can't buy and sell in our current market conditions—or without making major sacrifices or pricing your home loan to sell it fast and leaving money on the table—don't believe it.

Bobby and Dani thought the same thing, but they just sold their Rocklin, Illinois home and now they're living in their forever home in Florida. Sometimes you just need to think outside the box.
